If you're looking for activity, this "fabulous, modern" retreat is a good choice with its mammoth sports and health facility – yoga classes, an aquatic center, mud wraps – that "will blow you away"; tot-toters tout it as one of the "best family hotels in the Bay Area", but it's also "great" for singles and couples with a "super-convenient" location near freeways and the BART train to San Francisco; rooms feature "deep-soaking" tubs and exceptional baths, and staffers are "eager to please", so it's only the valet "parking fee" and the restaurant's food that some "dislike."

Room (and bathroom) were spacious and beautifully outfitted.
I had to pay an unexpected $19 for valet parking!

You don't have to be a sports or fitness enthusiast to be impressed and pleased by the Renaissance Club Sport Motel in Walnut Creek. Even though I never set foot into the massive workout room or participated in the indoor soccer game going on in the building, I found an artsy but masculine room with space, comfort and many extra touches, including two shower heads and a radio that could handle an Iphone. After checking out in the morning, I was able to grab a delicious smoothie on the run from their deli. It's proximity to nightlife in Walnut Creek.

Valet only parking at 19.00 a day.

Hotel one of the nicest I have stayed at. On a par with the high quality European new hotels. Very good for health conscious travelers with on site basketball court and full gym. Excellent spa for the ladies. Valet parking only is a drawback for business travelers trying to save their company money, but the Priceline price cannot be beat by anyone for the quality level! ...read more
